The STOLE

These stoles are representative of my Desert Tartan Plaid collection which I began in the mid 1970s. They are mohair warp and weft and brushed on the loom for luxurious look and finish.

Currently I am weaving what I call a "block plaid" - usually in a five-color combination.

Many of my stoles today are Rayon, a yarn that has a wonderful drapability and is lighter in weight than mohair yarn.

They are a generous 22" wide and about 80" woven length plus a 12-14" fringe.
